“Plants love us. They help us reclaim our health and our whole selves. Plants are healers”
“Every plant is a teacher-but as in every crowd there are always a few loudmouths”
There are so many herbs that are benefical for womb healing and wellness and I use quite a few of them in my holistic practice. But there are 3 herbs which are very special to me. I have developed a very special relationship with these herbs and I think they are the cornerstone of women’s health. I use these herbs on a daily basis drunk as a tea, added to my smoothies and used in my vaginal steaming herbal blends. These herbs nourish the womb and liver. They balance the reproductive hormones and provide a boost of energy to the divine feminine.
Raspberry is by far my favorite herb to work with. I first fell in love with raspberry leaf when I smelled it (it doesn’t actually smell like raspberries). I was intoxicated with the rich, luxurious smell and I was hooked. Besides the lovely smell, the medicinal and magical properties of raspberry make it an even easier herb to fall in love with. Raspberry leaf is a love and fertility herb. From a magical perspective, raspberry leaf is used for bring good luck in marriage and child bearing. From a medicinal perspective, few herbs pale in comparision to raspberry leaf. It is an excellent all purpose herb. It has high concentrations of vitamins and minerals, especially calcium and iron. It helps to stop excessive bleeding and strenthens the uterine wall. Raspberry leaf can be consumed safely during pregnancy and it helps to enrich the flow of breast milk.
Dandelion Root & Leaf
I’m a little obsessed with my liver. Everyone rants and raves about heart health, but I don’t think we give enough credit to our livers. The liver is such an amazing little organ that is completely indispensible to our health. It’s primary function is to process and metabolize EVERYTHING we consume, including any medicines. It determines what will be packaged and transported to our cells or what needs to be eliminated as waste. It is the master detoxifier. The liver is also responsible for balancing estrogen and progestrone which are essential to womb health. One of the best herbs for the health of the liver is dandelion root and leaf. It helps to cleanse and stimulate the liver. From a magical perspective dandelion root is a great herb for increasing psychic ability.
I add Maca powder to my smoothie every day. Maca is a great herb to get that p****y poppin!
Maca increases libido, fertility and boosts energy and endurance. It balances the hormones and promotes harmony within the womb.
I love these herbs and using them consistently in teas, smoothies and in vaginal steam herbal blends has made a positive impact on my womb health and wellness.
