The US Health Care System: The Hustle Built On Our Struggle

“If the medicine worked you wouldn’t need to refill the prescription”

“Our profitable disease care system doesn’t want you to die. It doesn’t want you to get well. It just wants you to keep coming back”

The US healthcare system is a revolving door, that creates customers instead of cures. They have literally built a hustle off our struggle. We get sick and they get rich, and this is how it works. We eat the Standard American Diet (SAD). The diet they tell us is completely healthy. They use propaganda and advertisement to convince us that we need meat for protein and milk does a body good. We are sold on a diet that is laden with genetically engineered products, and other additives and preservatives that can hardly can be considered food. We are told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you should eat 6 small meals every 2-3 hours to sustain energy and maintian a healthy metabolism.

We do exactly as we’re told, never once questioning the source of the information we receive. Dare we forget that the same system which permitted the torturous medical experimentaion on us for over 200 years (Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment), is the exact same medical establishment we now go to for “healing“.

We experience the breakdown of our bodies from consuming the Standard American Diet. We are in such discomfort and pain that we are compelled to finally see what’s going on. The end result is that we develop chronic disease. Hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity runs rampant throughout our communites, and we are dying at higher rates than our white counterparts.

When we visit the physician, we are told that chronic disease is genetic, it runs in our families, and all we can hope to do is manage it. They prescribe medicine and say, “see you in three months”. We go to the pharmacy, pick up the 30 day supply of meds and take them. We go back to the doctor in 3 months. Probably worse off, possibly the same, but never any better and definitely not cured. This goes on for years. We continue to eat the SAD, our chronic disease remains and worsens. We’re prescribed more medicine; increased dosages, different brands, or maybe referred to a specialist. During this process, we decline, and our bodies deteriorate.

But when we walk into that medical practice, they see dollar signs. According to a Medscape report, the average salary of a medical doctor is $289,000 a year. On average, Cardiologists make $314,000 a year. The US pharmaceutical market is worth a whopping $446 billion! We get sick and they all get rich.

This cycle continues for years until we eventually die. But, the system hopes that there is someone else, usually within our family to take our place, and the cycle continues. If you think about it, its a brilliant profit strategy. Give them the food that makes them sick and then give them the medicine that keeps them sick. All the while, money is being made. Remember, the US healthcare establishment, “doesn’t want you to to die. It doesn’t want you to get well. It just wants you to keep coming back”.

The truth is, you can escape this vicious cycle. Chronic disease is completely reversible and curable without constant trips to the doctor or the pharmacy. Here’s how it’s done.

1. Do not eat the SAD. Engage in intermittent fasting, and eat a Whole Foods, plant-based diet. To learn more about intermittent fasting and to join a program that will completely change your life, Click here

2. Understand that you have the power to heal yourself. Given the right conditions the body will heal itself.

3. Know that being healthy, happy and whole is your birthright.

Break the cycle, release yourself from the chains of the US disease care system, and stop letting the system get rich while you get sick. No longer will we let the them build a hustle off our struggle.
